These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of jerseyzhongwen.com and learn.jerseyzhongwen.com (the "Services"), operated by Jersey Zhongwen ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
Subscriptions and Payments
- Jersey Zhongwen Digital is available for a one-time $88 lifetime access fee, processed by Stripe.
- Additional products (live tutoring, office hours) are priced separately as disclosed at the point of sale.
- All prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
- Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis for requests made within 14 days of purchase.
License and Permitted Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Services for your own learning. You may not redistribute, resell, reverse engineer, or publicly broadcast the content, videos, audio, or course materials without written permission.
User Content
If you submit testimonials, messages, or media to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and reproduce that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services. You retain ownership of your content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services to: (a) violate any law, (b) harass or harm others, (c) transmit malicious code, (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or (e) interfere with the operation of the Services.
Third-Party Services
The Services integrate with third-party providers including Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Meta (advertising and analytics), TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that use of the Services will result in any specific language proficiency outcome.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jersey Zhongwen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time by emailing us.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Services or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
